Cubs accept. This is a big trade for me, and I'll miss Abreu, but I get the upgrade at 1B, and fill in some much-needed holes in 2B and CF. Lowrie's off to a hot start, hopefully for my sake he cools off. Really fun to negotiate with Connor, appreciate it dude! Good luck in the battle for 2nd in the division!

FINALLY moved Votto. Didn’t want to be responsible for his cap hit down the road. Think Abreu is a solid replacement and while losing two decent young guys, Lowrie and Gardner will help me now. Plus, I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to trade for another Reds player.
