Rationale:
I just signed Nick Ahmed for backup SS, and could use some 2018 salary flexibility. Like Burke and short term salary relief!

Cubs accept. I kinda need to put a SS on the field, it's pretty helpful! Mercer is fine but need a body, mostly. Burke is a nice prospect but the fact that I'll have an actual SS plus cap for the 2019 Cap Trouble from Hell made the deal worth it. I will apply the 2m to J.D. Martinez. Easy dealings with Andrew, thanks my man!
