Can't create 2 polls in one post, so here's a second free agency one. We agreed that age limits for FA contracts should exist to avoid long-term contracts being handed out to old players & handicapping franchises in future years as those players decline / retire.
So, a few options: 1. 3 Year max contract for players over 33 2. 3 Year max contract for players over 33, 1 year max for any player over 38 3. 3 Year max contract for players over 35, 1 year max for players over 38 4. Other (please propose)
All ages will be calculated as of January 1st in the year of free agency.

I think this is extra, unnecessary work looking at ages year after year. Let teams decide how long to offer a contract to players. MLB teams aren't restricted in how many years they can offer a player at 34. If you keep the contract multiplier low, teams won't offer unnecessarily long discounts to players to get "discounts". They go hand in hand.
