If we do increase it, it should be for the 2021 season. Then put in scheduled increases, something like $5M every 3-4 years.

Agree to increase salary cap in 2021. But cap increases should be limited to the minimum of every other season. Increases spaced out at every 3-4 years would be ideal.

Yeah I agree with Giants GM (Devon). We shouldn't increase every single year, especially by 5 million. Maybe something like 2-3 million every other year. Something like that, specifics can always be discussed.

I would rather have the salary cap set at a value that works ($120m or slightly higher, whatever that is), get rid of our involvement with MLB IRL contracts, and then not have to worry about it. Our players contracts will adjust to whatever it's set at... I don't know why we would agree to keep consistently changing our player contract values every year.

How would you feel about breaking the salaries up into groups and assigning each group a specified amount. Just an idea
