I accept. Huge fan of Groshans and Sanchez long term, plus I think Trent Grisham provides some great offensive upside. Sure, I probably sold low, but the chance to get 5 high upside prospects AND clear up 29 mil of cap for next year is huge for my rebuilding organization.

Got dang. Top 2 pitcher on the move. I actually think this deal makes a lot of sense.

Love Grisham, Lyon/Groshans offer plenty of long term upside, and the salary relief is meaningful in a rebuild.

On the other hand, Max is one of the few SPs who've been consistently top 5 over the last few years, and the salary doesn't have to scare Matt with his youth movement.

On net, I'd probably take Scherzer here, but I do also really like the mix of close in and farther out talent Trevor adds here.
