OAK Trades: OF Luis Robert CWS PP
PIT Trades: OF Jasson Dominguez NYY PP
Accept. I love Robert as a centerpiece to my rebuild but I’m 1000% on board with the hype over Dominguez. With some prospect depth in the outfield I’m willing to sacrifice a more sure thing in Robert to take a chance on a kid with a ceiling that’s through the roof.

Pirates confirm. Wasn't planning on dealing him so soon, but Tiernan came to me with this offer. I value Robert higher (probably a top 15/10 prospect right now) than Dominguez (probably a top 30/25), even though I'm all about Dominguez's hype as well... which is why I took him at 6. However, Robert is already at the high minors and fits my timeline better. In my opinion, he's the better prospect with his speed. Good talks Tiernan!

Robert > Dominguez (top 10 vs. top 50) in my book. Preferences vary though

While I believe the hype in Jasson, he's 16 years old and hasn't faced any real competition. Robert has been crushing AA and AAA already and is already proving his value. I get the personal preference but I think more has to be added to Jasson to net you Robert, who should easily be up next year compared to Jasson being 3-4 years away, at best.

Yeah, David pretty much covered it perfectly. Understand the hype on Jasson, but it alone doesn't match the track record of Robert.
