Pirates confirm. Two pick ups I got in claims this season who are okay prospects, turning them into a 2nd round pick I can hopefully use to gamble on a more high upside prospect long-term.

I get it ... and this trade isn't going to ruin a league by any stretch of the imagination but the difference in value here of pick and prospects is so egregious. This is more like a Round 5 and Round 7 at best. Line this trade up against virtually any second round pick last year and you can see how lopsided it is. Simeon Woods-Richardson or Cash Case & Yoel Yanqui Josh Stowers or Cash Case & Yoel Yanqui Jeremiah Jackson or Cash Case & Yoel Yanqui Joe Gray or Cash Case & Yoel Yanqui Also, another reason why allowing prospects to be claimed at any time sucks. If we are going to allow pick ups of prospects outside of drafts, these types of prospects can't also be dealt for second round picks. End of rant ;/ |

Never looked him up; had me at Victor Victor. I didn't even realize his last name was Mesa and not Victor. Well, not a deal breaker -- I'll add on, I've got a few decent guys on payroll
