Skaggs has potential to get better. While I don’t have many years of control, he helps fill out my pitching now and ultimately may net a solid prospect if I choose to flip him.
The cap is essential for having the flexibility to make moves the rest of the season.
Kennedy is not a big loss as I have good prospect depth. Turang is the sacrifice here but among my prospects, he was one I was willing to deal because he doesn’t have as much homerun upside as some others I have acquired.
