Houston Receives: SS Johan Camargo 2 5 $0.00 $1.00 2B Niko Goodrum 2 5 $0.50 $1.00 2019 6th 1M 2019
Cleveland Receives: SP Madison Bumgarner 9 $3.00 UFA
I like getting these two young guys who continue to get better. Younger and cheaper, i like it. Plus the pick and clears more cap. Good deal Indians.

The entire team is sitting at their Thanksgiving tables, enjoying the time with the family. They are talking about what in life makes them most thankful. Of course they all mentioned their kids, and wealth, and health, but they also talked about their beloved teammates, Camargo and Goodrum. They told valiant tales of their teammates, Niko and Johan, sticking fireworks with gum to Lindor and Pat Valaika in the dugout during the championship triumph. They talked about all the times these two walked into practice with Dunkin' Donuts for the whole team. Johan and Niko were absolutely beloved. Just as their stories were finally coming to a close at the table, the televisions started buzzing with breaking news. The football turned to news as the trade of Niko Goodrum and Johan Camargo gets announced. With tears in the Indians' eyes the continued with their turkey.

Veto. Bumgarner's an ace top of the rotation arm. Camargo will be a bench player once Austin Riley comes up who's got more power. Goodrum was a one year good player even then he was shuffled all over the field. So you saying "I'm getting 2 younger guys that are cheaper" or something like that makes no sense. Why would you deal an ace SP for 2 utility players? Come on Beckett.

Since I see a veto, I should give an explanation. Both of these guys ride the bench for me, and getting Madbum seals up my pitching staff without losing any of my starting batters. That's why we vetoing it grandpa. There bench players and your getting an ace for gods sake

Camargo's power started to show up tail end of the season and he is ahead of whatever old predictions you're reading... Goodrum WAS a utility guy who established himself by season's end and will play full time this season. MadBum is a one-year rental, well, less than one year depending on how badly he injures himself this year; my bet's on a strained thumb during a competitive game of tiddly-winks costing him 4-6 weeks.
Just because some GM way overpaid for one year of Sale does not mean everyone has to overpay for one season rentals.
