1. New York Yankees - Best record by 10 games. Keeps rolling through everyone. Tough matchup this week against Cleveland, true test right there after no moves at deadline. #4 in roto.
2. Boston Red Sox - 2nd place in division but #1 in league roto and 2nd best record. Lots of productive moves at deadline which could spring him above NYY. #1 on roto.
3. Houston Astros - First place in NL and new pitching has dominated. Acquired good batting pieces at deadline and looks to roll through the rest of their schedule. #3 on roto.
4. Cleveland Indians - Could be 3rd but HOU made better moves at the deadline. Leads division by 47 games and is still in the tier 1 of teams. #2 on roto.
5. Seattle Mariners - Leading division by 10.5 games, this team has a very good batting and an above average pitching rotation as they stroll into the playoffs. #5 on roto.
6. Colorado Rockies - I wanted to put them higher. Winners of the trade deadline and they are romping through the NL as of late. Winning the NL West currently is no small feat. #8 in roto.
7. Miami Marlins - What a surprise this season! Started with an awful roster and is now leading the brutal NL East. Ranked 3rd in the NL with a good batting, pitching is the only worry going into the playoffs. #7 in roto.
8. Cincinnati Reds - One of the best GM jobs of the year, the Reds are incredibly balanced with stars on both sides. A recent cold streak has brought them down in the rankings but a scary team come playoff time. #6 on roto.
9. Chicago Cubs - Disappointed a bit so far this year but even after selling off pieces at the deadline, the Cubs have heated up as of late and are pushing for a wild card spot. #9 on roto.
10. Los Angeles Dodgers - Just trailing the Rockies for the 2nd spot in the West, the Dodgers have struggled a bit as of late. This team is till very impressive and one of the top contenders for the NL pennant. #12 on roto.
11. Washington Nationals - Just behind the Marlins, the Nationals have a great young base that will cause mayhem for many years. After moving on from the Harper, Scherzer, Turner era, the new Nationals may be new and improved. #11 on roto.
12. Philadelphia Phillies - The last of the big three in the NL East, the Phillies are only a few games out and have a good and balanced roster. Only worries are their entire lineup is Phillies players which can lead to cold streaks. #10 on roto.
13. Pittsburgh Pirates - This could be a bit controversial, but the Pirates are playing above .500 ball with an easily top 5 farm system in the league... scary. #15 in roto.
14. Los Angeles Angels - Alright, alright, alright. Maybe I dropped them down a bit too far but blowing up a playoff team with Mike Trout was too questionable for my liking. That being said, the rebuild looks to be a good one and they do have 140+ wins this season. #13 on roto.
15. Kansas City Royals - Made some good moves trading away the pieces that won’t help their future. Good team going into next year, if they play their cards right the offseason, they could be a playoff team next year. #17 on roto.
16. Arizona Diamondbacks - Even after selling at the deadline, they kept their main pieces in place and acquired players that could help in a possible run next year or in the future. #16 in roto.
17. Atlanta Braves - The best youth core in the league added Trout at the deadline. Though not seen as a threat this season, next season and beyond will be bright in Atlanta. #21 in roto.
18. Texas Rangers - Sneakily playing .500 ball, this is a team that no one is talking about. With a young base, the Rangers could be a scary team in the future. #18 in roto.
19. San Francisco Giants - Last team in these rankings with over 100 wins, the Giants are losing some of their pieces next year, but with Juan Soto leading the youth charge, the Giants have a lot to look forward to. #14 in roto.
20. Baltimore Orioles - The Orioles sold a lot at the deadline but while they had their players in tact, they were certainly not a bad ball club. This team will have to see a lot of improvement to be able to contend in the AL East. #20 in roto.
21. Tampa Bay Rays - Some good moves at the deadline along with some good prospects point to a good future for the Rays. Again, the big worry is how they will fare in the best division in the league. #24 in roto.
22. Oakland Athletics - With a great minor league roster, the only worry with this team is the batting, the MLB pitching is already pretty good, and with their top prospects being pitchers, they will be set pitching wise. #22 in roto.
23. St. Louis Cardinals - A team with the places in piece to have a run next year, and the minor league roster to supply talent to them for years to come, the Cardinals are in good shape. #19 in roto.
24. San Diego Padres - The MLB roster for this team is nothing special, especially after the trade deadline, but the minor league roster is stacked with young talent which can lead to success very soon. #23 in roto.
25. Milwaukee Brewers - A team that was neglected for the early part of the season, new management has stepped in and has done an outstanding job in redirecting this team to future success. #25 in roto.
26. Chicago White Sox - Bright future indeed for this club, this team is absolutely loaded with youth and the minor league roster is nothing but the same. Scary team very soon. #26 in roto.
27. Toronto Blue Jays - Another team loaded with young talent, this team has higher upside than the Rays and Orioles and will be able to compete within a matter of time, assuming they can sign some free agents in a few years. #27 in roto.
28. Minnesota Twins - This team looks to be a long rebuild project, with some excitement in the minors, hopefully they can expand on the youth movement. #29 in roto.
29. Detroit Tigers - Although they have had a rough time this season, new management seems to have a good grasp on their direction and if they can rid of the bad contracts, they will have money, and talent to compete in the future. #28 in roto.
30. New York Mets - An embarrassing MLB roster, the Mets have an embarrassingly loaded, high upside minor league roster. NL East, watch out in 3 years. #30 in roto
