Veto. Severino was traded for judge and suarez recently. IMO, the first for teheran is fair, duda for the 3m is fair, then that means the deal is marwin and severino for marte and gio.
Severino should command a much larger return than marte and gio. By wrc+, marte is 20% above average and has some stolen bases. That is compared to severino who is arguably the most valuable SP in baseball right now and is in the 95th percentile of SP.

This deal makes me happy Approve Shoot, this makes it look like I think it's terrible for Beckett and that's why I'm passing. I think it favors BOS, despite offense being more valuable imo. I would hope Houston has another trade to follow it up maybe, because both Duda/Gonzalez are basically cap dumps so that certainly benefits HOU right now. They do get two OKAY starters to replace Sevy, who they honestly don't need with a strong rotation of SPs. I think it helps balance out pitching/hitting for both teams so I can see the reasoning for both teams making the move. |

Gonna have to veto this one. Not a reasonable get for Sevy. Dude. Doesn't compare with offers I've seen flying around today, and if there isn't a stated "...and then with those pieces I trade..." part two, then I don't see it.
