anyone with ANY MLB service time can be added in auction... then and only then if not added in auction they can be claimed as a minor leaguer if they qualify...

This will stopp the Buttrey debacle from happening in the future. If they have pitched or played AT ALL in the majors, just allow them to be bid on... and set the fair market for them.

I like this idea, once we solve the contract/bidding issue. I don't think someone who still has rookie status should be getting 8 years and a good amount of money. If we solve that issue, this should work well.
