Pirates receive:
SP, Jose Berrios ($500k, year 2) - from Boston
Red Sox receive:
2B, Javier Baez ($1m, year 3) - from San Diego
Padres receive:
OF, Manuel Margot ($500k, year 2) - from Boston
RHP, Shane Baz (prospect) - from Pittsburgh
2B, Jahmai Jones (prospect) - from Pittsburgh
Pirates confirm. I don't really feel like waiting three years to compete. Berrios is worth giving up a high ceiling pitcher and one of the game's top 2B prospects for. He's a favorite of mine and I look forward to owning him for awhile. Red Sox gets what he needs on offense as a part of the three team deal. Nice work on this guys.
