Accept. I don’t need a slam dunk college arm or bat at 1.1 since I’m on a bit of a longer term rebuild. If Cal were in this draft with his MLB minors track record, he would be pretty high on my board. Feel like I can get another Cal or two between the 1.30 pick I’m getting here and my own 2.1 pick. Kay, a former late first round pick, is a post TJS prospect I think has some upside longer term.

Pirates confirm. I have a ton of depth in my farm to make a move like this. I’ll take the highest upside player at the top of the board to hopefully get a future all-star type arm or bat.

So it turns out, I fucked up back in March. OAK won Mitchell via bidding, and I awarded him as CAL Mitchell. PIT bid on him a month later, and I put it in as CALVIN Mitchell, thus the discrepancy. Unfortunately, he is OAK property. Mets GM (Phil) and Pirates GM (Alex) , I am so, SO sorry for the error. I'll keep this post up for now. If you can find a new guy to plug in there, just edit the original, let me know, and we can proceed. Again, really sorry about that guys. Totally on me. |

I sent a message to Pirates. Will see if we can work something out but Cal Mitchell was the big piece here so you can go ahead and void this one and we will see if we can get a new deal posted.
If someone else was saying, I could have beat that offer to get the #1 pick well now is your chance. Now you know the type of deal I am looking for.
