LAA should've gotten more and should not be paying for Tanaka, but he is far from worth that contract. I just hope Minter lives up to your expectations.

Would have liked to see a non reliever move to LAA in this deal. I suspect Tanaka will bounce back in the second half like last year, and there's plenty of relievers to go around.
However, LAA wants to cut bait on Tanaka given the $20M+ owed in '19/'20 (as of now, he's already got $130M in 2019 payroll committed before raises/FA) and I think that's reasonable.
