A deal has been struck between two teams no one (especially me) ever thought would trade with each other.
Cubs TRADE:
• 1B Anthony Rizzo 6 $7.00 $6.00 $14.50 $14.50 UFA
• 2B Eduardo Nunez 7 $4.00 $4.00 UFA
Sox TRADE:
• CF George Springer 4 $0.00 $12.00
I accept. I hate to split up the bromance between Rizzo and Bryant, but I've got Abreu (and Desmond) at 1B, and need some more outfield help, so to me it's worth giving up Nunez to get the upgrade to the younger (and in my opinion, better) player in George Springer. Might be paying more down the line but Springer won me a league last year, so I have a bit of an obsession with him. Alex has been bugging me for a while about this one, hopefully we each enjoy our shiny new toys!! Cheers man
