Boston Red Sox get:
Byron Buxton (CF) $1.00 Mitchy "Four Bags" Moreland (1B) $6.50 $6.50
Minnesota Twins get:
Dinelson Lamet (SP) $0.30 $0.50 $1.00 Kevin Keirmaire (CF) $4.67 $8.00 $10.00 $11.50 $12.00 $13.00 UFA Yoenis Cespedes (LF) $9.00 $29.00 $29.50 15mil in 2019 on Cespedes
Money EVEN this year
Accept, Im not that high on Buxton, but I did this to dump Cespedes
EDIT: Will pay 15 mil on Cespedes in 2019 rather than the original 5

I approve, partially due to my fiery hatred for Buxton (hes screwed me over too many times)

Veto. This is crippling trade for the future of the Minnesota Twins. They pay 25% of their cap in 2019 and 2020, while not gaining anything in terms of short term or long-term value. They lose the guy with the highest upside (Buxton), lose the best current player (Moreland), and take on the future money.

well first off why are people voting for trade that hasnt officially even been accepted by both parties?? Seems alittle ass backwards.
2nd -- Veto. I can't state the facts better than Pirates already did. This type of trade is the kind of crap deal that has led to the roster disparity across this league already. There isn't near the value going back to MIN and financially that franchise will be strapped in 2020 taking on 2 players that can't stay healthy and paying them $40m

Veto
I’ve argued my reasoning on GroupMe and have basically said what Alex and Ryan stated above.

Sorry to those who vetoed, but the deal reached 5 approvals to one veto before the other vetoes came in, so the deal passes. Waiting on MIN to accept.

Since MIN never accepted the deal should have to go through approvals officially once he accepts ---- None of the approvals or vetoes should be valid at this point

Especially since the Red Sox just edited the trade after it was posted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
